Ursprünglich stammt das HUD aus der Luftwaffe, wo es schon seit ca. den 70er Jahren eingesetzt wird um wichtige Informationen. Short for Heads-Up Display, a HUD is a tool used in online poker games to track and display opponents’ poker statistics in real time. PokerTracker 4, Hold’em Manager 2, and DriveHUD are examples of poker hand tracking programs that include a HUD. Playing with a HUD can give you a big edge if used correctly. MadPea usually has several different HUD games throughout the year. These are usually hunt type games, and you will get some pretty cool gifts at the end. These are usually available for a limited time. The cost does vary. In gaming, the HUD differs depending on the genre of the game and the actual game itself. It is usually on onscreen display of a character's status and other statistics (e.g., health, equipment, ammunition level, position in a race, etc.). The HUD allows the player to check a character's statistics without looking away from the gameplay. In video gaming, the HUD (heads-up display) or status bar is the method by which information is visually relayed to the player as part of a game's user interface. It takes its name from the head-up displays used in modern aircraft. And it got me wondering, what other HUD games are out there? To get the thread started, I figured I'd introduce the HUD games that I know of myself, and give a brief introduction to them.
GTFO: 'Get the freight out' is a game which encourages you to explore the grid and various modes of transportation, from cars and bikes, to trains, to boats, and helicopters.
Whilst the game is, by itself, not 'social' in nature, being out there and meeting others along the way who are up to the same can be a good way of making friends, perhaps you'll spot a bunch of green dots on the map along your route and find an event or party, or perhaps an unexpectedly bad sim crossing will send you flying into someone's back yard?
If you enjoy vehicles and exploration, GTFO might just be for you. Cost: You can get a free vehicle a small car! There is an in-game currency, but last I checked it didn't 'do' anything, there's also a premium version of the game HUD the free 'demo' is fully functional though.
Bloodlines: Bloodlines is a game where you can take the role of either a human, or one of the four cursed races vampires, werewolves, angels or demons - or a hybrid combination of two races.
To be successful, you will have the constant incentive of needing to feed to push you towards befriending people and convince them to join the game.
Whilst Bloodlines is frowned upon by a lot of people, it is an excellent tool for building communities and making friends, and offers a fun setting for role play.
The game is a lot more complex than what I've briefly described, but I figured a short overview will have to do - if you're curious about it, most Bloodlines players are happy to give you a more detailed introduction, or you can find all relevant information on the game's website.
Though depending on how you chose to play the game, the exact daily cost may vary - there are also various add-ons ranging from character equipment to furniture, with various price tags.
Despite the simplicity of the concept though, it does require some strategy to maximize your limited resources - fatigue time , stamina and gold coins, and has a competitive element to it weekly leader-boards with in-game rewards.
As you work out, you increase your strength as well as your level, and unlock 'heavier' work out methods. Although the game may seem a bit niche, it can be quite addictive and gives you plenty of opportunity to meet people - especially as you'll eventually want to find someone to spot for you, and may be asked to spot for them in return.
It's probably worth pointing out that certain regions on which the game is playable are A-rated, but you'll be able to play only on the M-rated regions if you so prefer or figure out how A-rated you're okay with!
Cost: Entirely free. You couldn't pay for it if you wanted to. These types of HUDs reduce screen clutter by only displaying specific bits of information when the in-game situation calls for it.
For instance, when exploring on horseback, the player will only see the mini-map and the horse's stamina meter if they are galloping.
When the player enters combat, the game will display information related to ammunition amount and type along with the meters for player health, player stamina, "Dead Eye" ability, horse stamina and horse health.
Prolonged display that stays on the screen in a fixed position, remaining static of HUD elements on certain CRT -based screens may cause permanent damage in the form of burning into the inner coating of the television sets, which is impossible to repair.
Players who pause their games for long hours without turning off their television or putting it on standby risk harming their TV sets.
Plasma TV screens are also at risk, although the effects are usually not as permanent. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Especially since Bloodborne is a difficult game that has enemies that give you heart palpitations. It is set as the Objective variable in the Level Blueprint.
The objective marker uses a Project function to convert a 3D location vector representing the objective's location into 2D screen coordinates, so that the objective label and icon drawn at those coordinates will always be hovering over the objective Actor when it is on the screen.
The text is centered over the objective by using the Get Text Size node. This node measures the height and width a string will be when drawn on the HUD, taking into account the font used and the scale of the text.
Because text is aligned left by default, and its coordinates will be at the top left, this node is useful for adding an offset to those coordinates to center the text.
The pause menu is opened when the player presses M. This pack contains 24 icons — 6 item types with 9 different backgrounds representing each of the four basic elements plus cold, acid, lightning, death and life.
